In some part of VPP we are accessing memory past what was allocated for
efficiency when we know it is safe to do so. We need to tell ASan about
it so it does not complain.
The initial attempt was too simple and could not manage cases where the
poisoned memory was scattered. This new attempt is more robust as we
save and restore the full shadow state.
Note it will still not work properly if we poison/unpoison memory while
in an overflow context, but this should not be a big issue as overflow
should only be temporary.

For portabiliy reasons it is better to have all wrapped in clib code.
I.e. instead of using getcpu() we have clib_get_current_numa_node () and
clib_get_current_cpu_id().

VAT2: A completely auto-generated replacement of VAT.
Reads input message in JSON from stdin and outputs received messages in JSON.
A VAT2 plugin is automatically built for a .api file.
There no longer a need for a separate _test.c.

"timer.[ch]" used a signal handler to deliver timer callbacks. Without
indulging in a set of sigprocmask(...) system calls, it would be
unsafe to use the mechanism.
Rather than wait for another developer to accidentally open this
particular can of worms, best to remove the code. It's nothing more
than an attractive nuisance at this point.
