2021-11-23ip: unlock_fib on if deleteNathan Skrzypczak1-0/+2
On interface delete we were not removing the lock taken by a previous ip_table_bind() call thus preventing the VRFs to be removed. Type: fix Change-Id: I11abbb51a09b45cd3390b23d5d601d029c5ea485 Signed-off-by: Nathan Skrzypczak <nathan.skrzypczak@gmail.com>

2021-10-11ip: fix fib and mfib locksNathan Skrzypczak1-2/+1
This patches fixes an issue that could cause fib locks to underflow: if an API user deletes a fib and quickly recreates it, the fib may not have been actually deleted. As a result, the lock would not be incremented on the create call leading to the fib potentially disappearing afterwards - or to the lock to underflow when the fib is deleted again. In order to keep the existing API semantics, we use the locks with API and CLI source as flags. This means we need to use a different counter for the interface-related locks. This also prevents an issue where an interface being bound to a vrf via API and released via CLI could mess up the lock counter. Finally, this will help with cleaning up the interface-related locks on interface deletion in a later patch. 2021-01-28ip: Router ID included in flow hashNeale Ranns1-2/+0
Type: feature A device/router needs to have a unique ID which is included in the flow has so that flows are not polarised through the network, i.e. each deice in the network chooses the same nth link for the same flow. 2020-03-03geneve gtpu vxlan vxlan-gpe: VRF-aware bypass nodeNick Zavaritsky1-0/+9
Bypass node MUST NOT intercept a packet if destination IP doesn’t match a local address. However IP address interpretation depends on the VRF, hence bypass node must take that into account. This patch also factors-out common VTEP management and checking code. 2019-12-05ip: fix cancel termination after receive malformed ip6 packetjohny1-2/+0
This fix is for cancel termination of vpp after receive malformed packet type of ip6.To avoid termination of vpp are checked if are missing data in packet. This occours, when payload length in ip6 header packet is more than real count of data in packet. When this error occours, packet is ignore. 2019-10-10tcp: custom checksum calculations for Ipv4/Ipv6Srikanth A1-0/+79
Type: feature Based on the configuration, we can disable checksum offload capability and calculate checksum while pushing the TCP & IP header. This saves some cycles when VPP stack is used in legacy hardware devices. 2017-10-28session: rules tablesFlorin Coras1-0/+10
This introduces 5-tuple lookup tables that may be used to implement custom session layer actions at connection establishment time (session layer perspective). The rules table build mask-match-action lookup trees that for a given 5-tuple key return the action for the first longest match. If rules overlap, ordering is established by tuple longest match with the following descending priority: remote ip, local ip, remote port, local port. At this time, the only match action supported is to forward packets to the application identified by the action. 2017-10-10session: add support for application namespacingFlorin Coras1-0/+7
Applications are now provided the option to select the namespace they are to be attached to and the scope of their attachement. Application namespaces are meant to: 1) constrain the scope of communication through the network by association with source interfaces and/or fib tables that provide the source ips to be used and limit the scope of routing 2) provide a namespace local scope to session layer communication, as opposed to the global scope provided by 1). That is, sessions can be established without assistance from transport and network layers. Albeit, zero/local-host ip addresses must still be provided in session establishment messages due to existing application idiosyncrasies. This mode of communication uses shared-memory fifos (cut-through sessions) exclusively. If applications request no namespace, they are assigned to the default one, which at its turn uses the default fib. Applications can request access to both local and global scopes for a namespace. If no scope is specified, session layer defaults to the global one. When a sw_if_index is provided for a namespace, zero-ip (INADDR_ANY) binds are converted to binds to the requested interface.
